Description :
The Cojoux and Tréal moors are now acknowledged as the second megalithic site in Brittany after Carnac. This vast sacred space was used for funerals for more than 3000 years (from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age) and has a range of monuments that is unique in Europe (stone rows, enclosures, burial mounds, cairns, dolmens, gallery graves and chambered tombs) in a landscape of dry moorland preserved thanks to the outstanding efforts of the Departmental Council as part of its Sensitive Natural Areas management policy. Peer through the mists of legends to see the Demoiselles, Four-Sarazin, Tribunal and Château Bû monuments. Discovery trails.Langue(s) parlée(s) :
